You can imagine how small the original apartment was considering this is the case 55 square meter apartment in Poznan in its current form is a combination of 2 individual residential units! the Renovation of an apartment from the 1950s is a project carried out by Atelier Starzak Strebicki that uses intelligent design and sophisticated multifunctional wall furniture to transform the tiny interior into a visually spacious and pleasing interior.

The idea was to maximize space by creating a more adaptable home, where each room could be easily changed in configuration to switch between complete privacy and a sense of openness. Instead of conventional swinging doors, sliding doors were used in the bedroom and bathroom to save even more space. Despite the white, neutral background, brilliant splashes of color can be seen in any room. Different shades of blue and sea green cabinets in the bedroom brighten the apartment and give it a distinctive identity.

In the living area and bedroom, the existing cozy wooden floors have been reused, while the bathrooms and kitchen have new granite tiles. A small hallway next to the bathroom acts as a buffer zone between the kitchen and the bedroom. The result is a charming apartment with a certain “breezy summer flair”!
