Talk about how art and architecture are “intertwined.” metaform, A Luxembourg City-based studio has designed a 4,000 sq ft modern residence in Luxembourg that has some notable details on display. The sculptural architecture of the project with the black, monolithic structure stands out and contrasts with the surrounding neighborhood buildings. Its unique feature was the integration of art into the development process.
The concept, which was created with the participation of the artist Sumo, reflects the relationship between art and architecture and is integrated into the built space. Sumo voluntarily covered the room from floor to ceiling with his artwork in a way that can be described as “post-graffiti”. The apartment has a total of three floors. There is a 90m2 two bedroom apartment on the first level, two studios on the second level and a 115m2 duplex apartment on the third level. Enjoy the mix of subtle art and dynamic graffiti together.
